Sedation dentistry can also benefit those with special needs or patients who find it difficult to remain still.
Nitrous Oxide
Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is breathed in through a mask to help you remain relaxed but awake during treatment. It wears off quickly once treatment is complete, allowing you to drive yourself to and from your appointment.
Oral Conscious Sedation
This medication is taken before your appointment. Oral conscious sedation allows most patients to experience a deeper state of relaxation than nitrous oxide. However, you will need someone to drive you to and from your appointment.
IV Sedation
This is the deepest level of sedation offered. We work with a board-certified anesthesiologist to administer your IV sedation and monitor you during treatment. You will need a responsible adult to drive you to and from your appointment.

Dr. Zboril and his staff are simply the best! We moved to Victoria from Austin and were resigned to having to make the four hour trip back just to fing competent care. Boy were we wrong! We picked Dr. Zboril solely based on his 5-Star rating and he and his staff definitely deserve that rating. So friendly and attentive. They explained everything in great detail and made sure all of our questions were answered. My huband had 2 teeth pulled and will have implants a a cavity filled in the near future and we have every confidence that Dr. Zboril and his staff will make it as easy and painless as possible.
